IAM Whoami is a free career training program built for people from non-traditional backgrounds who deserve access to high-paying technology careers.
// who we are
IAM is Identity and Access Management — the system that controls who gets in and what they are authorized to do. Whoami is a real Linux command that tells you exactly who you are in the system. Together they ask the question this program is built around: who are you, and what are you now authorized to do?
IAM Whoami opens the door to technology careers for people who were never shown the entrance. No prior tech experience required. No cost to participants. Just clarity, real skills, and a path forward.

// about the founder
I'm Christopher Catchings, a Technical Account Manager managing a $38 million global book of business in enterprise cybersecurity. I've worked with top brands including Spotify, Bank of America, Bausch and Lomb, Turo, and WWE.
My path into tech was not straight. I started in film production, worked in healthcare, and built my way in through curiosity and discipline. I grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, a city with a deep tradition of civic engagement, intellectual pride, and activism.
